We’re just a few days away from the 9th Global Investigative Journalism Conference in Lillehammer, Norway. You’ve probably started packing already.
The weather forecast tells us we can expect a typical Norwegian autumn. Daytime temperatures will be around 6 to 8 degrees Celsius (44F), with some light wind. The forecasts don’t mention rain, but we suggest you bring a raincoat to be sure.
Going to our data training sessions? If you plan to participate in one of the many hands-on workshops, don’t forget to bring your own laptop.
Also, be sure to bring your personal QR-code for registration at the conference (you should have received it by e-mail). You can print out a hard copy or save it as a picture on your cellphone.
We’ve got 850 remarkable journalists from 121 countries joining us this week — and we’re looking forward to meeting you all. See you in Lillehammer!
