To Norway: The cheapest air flight tickets to Norway can be found through sites such as Momondo, Kayak, Expedia, or Hotwire. GIJN and SKUP are working closely with our many partners to provide help as needed.
Please note that the nearest airport to Lillehammer is Oslo Airport (OSL).
From the Airport: The Oslo Airport (OSL) is 140 km from Lillehammer. There are trains going every hour (**:59) from the airport to Lillehammer. The tickets costs approximately USD 31 (250NOK). There will be a service desk for GIJC-participants at the airport.
Train tickets can be bought directly on the spot, no reservation needed. Or, they can also be bough online here (Choose from “Oslo Lufthavn” to “Lillehammer”, and just follow the instructions. After payment you will recieve an email with a confirmation code. This code is used on the ticket machines (the red and grey ones) labeled «NSB» at the airport train station.
In the City: : Lillehammer city center is quite compact and small. All hotels are 15 minutes walking distance from the conference venue. If you need a taxi, just call +47 06565.
From Hafjell to Lillehammer: For those staying in nearby Hafjell (about 20 minutes away by bus or taxi), there will also be a shuttle bus available at the following times (from Hafjell to the conference venue, and from the conference venue to Hafjell).
